Position Summary:
Truck and trailerplanning on both continent and uk (mix of both)
Process planning in our inhouse TMS
Book crossings with ferry companies
Take customs procedures into account
Plan in accordance to HGV driving regulations
This is where you come in:
Part of Europa Road Group (UK-Dartford) with + 200 mio gbp turnover, + 1000 employees
Company with own entity in a large company with full focus on transport
Operational team of roughly 10 person in Oostende
Reporting directly to the operations manager
Our Ideal Person
Exceptional communication and operational skills.
Confident and clean communicator with suppliers & colleagues.
Accurately create planning/ferry bookings in the TMS.
Skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, issue and query resolution.
Explores opportunities to increase rates and increase margin.
In this role, you will:
Be the achievement of a successful end-to-end process.
Ensure the highest standards of truckplanning in order to build solid and profitable relationships with new and existing suppliers.
Manage and motivate your suppliers with effective and open communication, to ensure that they achieve their targets.
Understand and implement company policies, procedures and practices in order to be compliant with our ISO9001 standards.
Develop strong working knowledge and relationships within the organisation – possess strong networking skills in order to strive good operational and financial results.
Work Closely with the Sales team.
Understand the financials of a supplier.
