Finance Process & System Specialist - Purchase to Pay
Who are we looking for :
Role Purpose:
The PTP Process specialist will be the bridge between the Finance Purchase To Pay user community and the technology solutions in order to guarantee user support, best practices adoption and central governance of processes / system solutions.
The candidate will lead business processes analysis and work closely with Finance stakeholders to understand and capture their business requirements. He / she will map, analyze, document the as-is process and define solutions for the to-be in line with the global model.
The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance Purchase To Pay processes, preferably with demonstrated involvement in process re-engineering / design on SAP. The candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills.
Major Accountabilities:
Support the Finance PTP user community to correctly address SAP / process queries respecting deadlines and setting proper priorities.
Collect, analyze and document user requirements, design technical solutions in co-operation with business and ICT, validate the solutions developed and share them with the PTP users for an effective adoption.
Serve as a subject matter expert in PTP Finance processes review and new SAP solutions implementation projects.
Manage the overall governance of the Finance PTP Model, sharing best practice with local and central accounting teams and other functions involved.
Key Internal and External Relationships:
Main Internal interactions:
Interactions with all the other Finance functions, with main focus on EMEA but with contacts across different regions.
Interactions with other Business functions, mainly Purchasing, Manufacturing and Aftersales.
Interactions with Account Payables operations.
Major Challenges:
To manage high workload peaks, maintaining a high quality and being able to identify priorities and to comply with accounting, tax and compliance requirements
To work with different stakeholders who are globally distributed, managing different cultures, regulations and constraints, time zones, etc.
To be able to work in a very dynamic and demanding environment, with new daily challenges that require quick and effective responses / solutions
Desired profile:
Minimum Requirements:
Master Degree in Finance and Accounting (or equal through experience)
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Finance Purchase To Pay processes, preferably with experience in SAP system
Preferred demonstrated exposure to cross-functional and complex international environments
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential
Desired Chracteristics:
Proven communication skills with both technical support teams as well as cross-functional business users.
Strong team player as well as proven track record of service to internal customers.
Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills as well as detail oriented.
Strong analytical skills as well as proficiency with MS based office products with emphasis in Excel.
Self-directed managing multiple projects and tasks
