Job description:
Current Product Manager for Midrange Conventional Combines manages the current product activities, such as Quality & Reliability, Current Product Improvements and Cost reductions.
This role manages actively the Combines produced in Plock (TC, CX5/6, CH) and supports the activities for combines produced in Curitiba (TC, TX) and in Pune (TC)
Responsibilities include:
Lead a cross functional team (Purchasing, Manufacturing, PE/PV, SQE, Quality, etc.) to solve Quality and Reliability issues targeting continuous improvement on Warranty cost and customer satisfaction
Chair and lead CPM (Current Product Management) meetings ensuring appropriate priority management among stakeholders (quality, product-customer requests, reliability, etc.) and assuring that the team acts efficiently to meet the quality targets
Manages the ongoing Cost Reduction activities, working closely with Cost Manager, to achieve the assigned Cost Performance targets.
Manages the development and implementation of CPI’s (Current Product Improvements)
Chair and lead the Change Review Board (CRB) team
Manages the R&D budget and PD Capex budget for all current product activities
Profile:
Key Competences and Qualifications:
Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Minimal 5 years of experience in Aftersales, Quality or Engineering
Fluent English
Strong organizational skills
Strong communication and coaching skills
Team player
Decision taker
Customer focus
This position reports directly to the global platform manager.
