Critical supplier management & parts arbitration specialist


Function

  • Lead the coordination, assignment and arbitration for critical parts. This for the European-based suppliers, who are unable to meet our global demand.

  • Involve the regional PP&C managers so that allocations and arbitrations take place to optimize the global margin.

  • Support complete lines in all Ag factories, by guiding suppliers to the appropriate minimum requirements, this reduces / eliminates the non-routine completion activities, minimizes air freight.

  • Guiding suppliers to the right priorities, improving the complete off-line and consequently the FTQ performance.

  • Optimizing the allocation of parts so that we prioritize our high-margin products (taking into account product margin and regional margins), focusing on overall operating profit, prioritizing the coverage of retail and dealer orders.

  • Together with the capacity management team, provide input (critical, limited parts/suppliers) to the regional PP&C managers so that realistic operational production plans can be developed.

  • Strive to balance the workforce and other resources with limited materials/suppliers so that the most cost-efficient

  • MFG plan can be followed.

  • Assign parts so that the availability of entire goods is aligned with defined priorities (taking into account the customer’s key priorities, margins, operating profit).


Profile

  • Management skills: organising meetings with suppliers and all ag factories involved

  • Good knowledge of all logistics-related WCM pillars

  • Organizational and planning skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Team player

  • Be flexible and able to work under pressure and with tight deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience in motivating and coaching a team

  • Experience in a car environment (or related / similar)

  • Experience in planning and logistics

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent by experience

  • Good knowledge of English – knowledge of Dutch, French, Italian is a plus

  • Knowledge of SAP/MOMS/Click/MES Kitting/Access/Excel/CSCN is een asset

  • Product knowledge of combine harvesters / Balers / FR / Tractors is an asset
